Possibly 1970-1990, European (possibly French) film about a woman who has a plan to get the perfect child and ends up marrying somebody else and having 4-5-6 kids.

It was set I think in Paris. There was this woman who wanted the perfect child and one child only. She had it all planned. She found the exact guy she wanted. Tall, blond and muscular, possibly German. She read somewhere that guys are more likely to sire sons when tired, so she made him work out on the rowing machine before sex. Everything was going according to plan. In the end, she married a short guy and had about 4-5 children.
