80s movie - Magical tavern - Barkeeper grants wish making main lead wealthy

This was a typical 80's swap-lives kind of movie. The central character is a middle-aged man working in a software company. The company owner is a bit of a jerk, the protagonist goes to a bar and wishes he was wealthy or some such.

When he goes back home, he finds his wish has come true. He is the owner of the company now, but things change and eventually he becomes boorish himself. His previously best friend is now a nervous wreck and attempts to jump off the company building.

At the end, he just wants to turn everything back to how it was earlier.
