Late 70s/early 80s Kung Fu/ Martial arts flick with memorable swordfight

Remember seeing at least part of this film as a kid in Georgia, circa 1981-83...Although the recollection is fuzzy, I think that it may have been one of the Bruce Lee lookalikes (Le, Li, but definitely not Bruce Lee), and I assume that I saw it on Black Belt Theatre, or something similar----having said all that, the very distinctive, memorable aspect was this:
Bad guy/good guy showdown, in a circle(ring of stones, what have you)...the hero is RUN THROUGH with a sword, with the blade sticking out of his abdomen, and then pulls the bad guy onto the blade...
I think it safe to say the film would have been made after Bruce Lee's death in '73, up to not long before my seeing it in that '81-'83 time frame.
Can you name this film ?   :)
