Two twins, young adult horror?

I barely remember this but it was of the early 2000s/90s R.L. Stein copy and their ilk, there were these two twins sent off to boarding school and one was more popular than the other and i think there's a murder and we find out the popular twin was the bad one all along in a shocking twist.

anyone remember this?
