Big man pursues a woman breaking through walls again and again into a house (b/w)

Hi. Thanks for your help.

I remember a scene like a film within a film.

It was a TV on and it was a movie/film on it. A black and white film.

A woman was running into a house opening and closing doors and a big man (a monster?) was chasing her, so he was breaking down the walls, going through them, and they were doing the same two or three times.

I think I watch this film in the 80's.

I know you can find it. Thanks.

I think the film you are looking for  is Crimewave  (1985)

It's a very funny black comedy by the team who did the Evil Dead horror film series. It's set in the 40s or 50s. And the door sequence is when the big villain chases the woman through either a door or studio set factory. She keeps opening and closing them.  It's a funny film well worth watching.

Here's the movie on YouTube. The sequence you want starts at about the 35 minute mark:

I think you're right. Really awesome. Thanks!

Do you know from which b&w film is this sequence (man breaking walls, chasing a woman) a tribute for?
I read the plot from this movie and some gags are taken from another movies like "The Three Stooges", but specifically this one?

Thanks again for your help.
