Mother and daughter live in a hotel, girl befriends Asian boy who's father is of noble descent(?)

Possibly a mini series. Family comedy. A girl lives in a hotel with her mother where she befriends an Asian boy. Them two are mischevious and act playfully. Soon it is revealed that the boy is of noble descent and when his father comes everyone tries to separate the boy from a girl. In one of the scenes kids leave a boy's jacket in a washing machine and all of the sheets end up dyed pink . Hotel manager is upset but the boy's father is actualy happy to se they changed the sheets to pink ones.
