(answer format and depth of information provided may vary from question to question and different question/discussion types)

- If you're not at least above 50% positive about an answer or are just asking follow-up questions or providing general information, please post it as a comment instead.

- While we're happy to have R language and references, please treat each other PG.

- Only the person who asked the question may decide if an answer is the "Best Answer" or not.

If you're here asking a question please be courteous enough to pick a Best Answer (by clicking on the star next to the correct answer) or at the very least follow up.

Updates (Jun 18 2015)

#1 - To help combat the issue of unanswered (but actually answered) questions we're going to try a new method. If the questioner has indicated the right answer in their question or have commented with it, please first advise them that they can answer their own question.

Then (and this is the most important part of this new method), if they fail to answer the question properly after 24 hours, you may at that time post the answer yourself. It should be reiterated though, that you're not to mark your own answer as Best Answer. This should be reserved for those asking the question only.

#2 - You can now upload and set your avatars directly from your account.

#3 - Top-left, you'll see that we're now an affiliate of Fandango. To help support NTM, we ask that everyone (who's comfortable buying online and still goes to dusty ol' brick and mortar theaters) please buy your movie tickets, which you'll inevitably be buying anyways, through us. Every little bit helps the community continue moving forward.

Thank you.

I have limited mobility and cannot go to a movie theater. I haven't gotten to go since "The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen"/POTC" were being shown.

I just wanted to explain why I won't be buying any tickets~ever.
As one of our top experts I think it's safe to say that you do quite enough already to support the NTM community, or better yet, to make it a worthwhile community at all. Thank you for that. I hope you're still having fun answering movie questions.

By the way, the from-theater-to-home-video rate is getting quicker and quicker all the time, that it's just a matter of time before you're able to buy tickets and stream still in-theater movies to your home straight away.

There's definitely some industry debate about that though and it might not be within everyone's capability or cup o' tea to watch new movies that way though.

Really, it's just a call-to-action to those that still buy theater tickets, that if they're going to anyways, why not buy them through us?
Unfortunately, I won't be able to buy on line any movie tickets since I live in Brazil and this service isn't available here in my country. But THANK you very much for your site, it's the BEST on this "subject" (trying to find a name of a movie, etc). I am here  at least once a week, trying to help and to answer some of the questions. It's a pity that  when I know an answer, it usually has already been answered correctly. Cheers to my sweet friend MystMoonstruck.  :)
That's so sweet! Thank you, mimiko! I try dropping by here at least twice a day.

I wish that I could answer more questions, but the fuzzy brain (from fibromyalgia) often doesn't want to cooperate.

This IS a nice site.

EDIT: I have to add that I don't understand "streaming" and all of the rest. I go to YouTube; that's it for me. I don't know how to do anything else and would be afraid to do something because I don't know what's legal. Actually, I guess I rely on TCM most of all.
