what is the name of this movie

I saw this movie inthe very early 70's. It was about 2 children who (for whatever reason) don't believe their mother is their real mother. All throughout the movie she tries to convince them, win them over. At the end, she gives up, packs her bags & as she is walking to a cab (I believe) to leave, the children decide she IS their mother & run after her yelling "Mother". Mother turns around, grabs (hugging) the children & stays. The end. I was under 10 yrs old, so I don't know ANYTHING about this movie, only that it was good. I remember crying at the end. EDIT - My Mom remembers a scene where someone in the movie paints/draws a picture of a lady & the children ask who it is & artist tells them it's their Mother. That's when they realize the lady in the house IS their Mother
