Probably 80's Suspense - Woman changes her identity to frame the person trying to harm her

A woman in Fort Worth, Texas, possibly having been the victim of an assault, searches death records for a baby who died about the time she was born, then obtains a new birth certificate for that name.  She travels to Florida and establishes a history for that new person, then uses it as an alibi.  Having read another question, "woman changes her identity and hangs out in the bar where she was assaulted," I think it might be the same movie.
