Movie from the 90's or early 2000's about a kid who can talk to their animals, I think to save the farm or something. The "gift" doesn't last forever but life lessons are learned, kids/family movie style.

I don't have much more information than that, just that it might have been on Disney or ABC Family.  If I remember right, it was a made-for-TV movie.  It's also life-action.

Not Anabelle's Wish, I know that much.
