Man falls for mystery woman whose notes in books he has read. They eventually meet in train station.

A love story with moral to not judge a book by its cover. Man falls in love with a unknown woman whose notes in her old books he has read. He writes her and they agree to meet one day at a train station and she is suppose to have a flower...maybe a red rose...I am not sure of the flower. He sees a woman at the station but she is older and not very attractive. He hesitates at first but then decides he will approach her and when he does he finds out that this person is not the woman but a stand in for her. That he is to meet the real woman across the street at a diner coffee shop.
