Deer hunting goes wrong and they accidentally kill a person (90's-early 2000's)

Can't remember much about this movie but it was definitely a low budget film in my mind. Probably a 90's - early 2000's movie. It was an american movie.

It was about 2 guys that go deer hunting in some woods (think the ground was white over with snow), and one of the guys accidentally shoots and kill a person. They don't report it to the police and they go back home pretending nothing happened, and when the police find the body, one of the main characters (the one that pulled the trigger) ends up going to the police and telling a lie and that his friend pulled the trigger.
Then im sure the innocent one is on the run from the police, and at the end of the film the guy who pulled the trigger ends up getting found out some how.

Really wanting to watch this again but i have absolutely no idea what its called.
Thanks.

Any chance it is "Call of Death", a.k.a "Dödsklockan"?
http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0178398/

The basic premise is similar, but this is a Swedish film, I think.
No this is not the movie.
Getting warmer though.
Do you know any where other than imdb I can search by plot or something?

Thanks for the reply
