The Name of this Western with a strange hand/wrist device?

*Not Cowboys and Aliens or Wild Wild West.

From what I remember of this movie it is a western, the main character has some sort of mechanical looking wrist/hand device-thing, that clamps onto his hand and  makes him a really fast/ really good shot. He's basically unstoppable. But the device is cursed, like he can't stop killing. I remember maybe a final scene where it comes off, I think because it is either shot off or because the character that was wearing it is dying. I believe the main character is lying on the ground reaching for it, but dies.

The device thing itself is not very complicated looking, it looks almost like a chain that clamps on to his hand/wrist. Almost like a piece of jewelry.I want to say the device is called the scorpion or maybe it's scorpion shaped? I thought I was sure about that detail but I wasn't able to find anything.

Era: 70s/80s/90s maybe earlier? I think I saw it on some Spanish channel in the 90s, but it could have been dubbed. Wonder if this could have been a TV show.

"Cowboys & Aliens"?

Daniel Craig has a similar device on his wrist throughout the movie. You can see it in the trailer below:

Heh, definitely not. This was a good deal older, I think I saw it on TV in the 90s.

It's not a Western, but this matches your description in many ways.

"The Outer Limits" (revival of TV anthology series)

"The Gun" (January 2000 episode)

From Wikipedia:

Getting out of prison after his serving years for spousal abuse, Matthew Logan first stops at a gunshow and buys a strange handgun from a mysterious stranger named Donald Finley.

Matthew uses the gun to shoot to death his wife, Sandra. But when he pulls the trigger, the weapon instantly and painfully attaches itself to his hand and arm, transforming his body into a killing machine.

There is an earlier episode that is set in the Old West, but it involves several gunfighters:

"Heart's Desire" (February 1997 episode)

From Wikipedia:

Neither of those are it, but that was pretty interesting. Feel like we're getting closer here. Thanks.
