Scene with tornadoes weatherman's jag crushed reporter says hope no one was in it

It's a disaster movie.  A weatherman is on a couch with a woman.  He sees the doppler and calls the head meteorolgist.  The head guy gets in his jag to head to station.  He gets out of the car to warn people to get to safey.  He gets back in and a news chopper's cam shows something crushing the jag and a newscaster saying he hopes no one was in it.  Back at the station, the weather guy there leaves the room with the woman.  A while later the woman opens the door and half of the building is gone.  There is also a guy waxing the floor with headphones on who doesn't realize the building is half gone.

This has been driving me nuts for days! Please help

"The Day After Tomorrow" (2004)
starring Dennis Quaid, Jake Gyllenhaal

You can read the plot summary here:

You can watch the trailer and film clips by copying and pasting these at YouTube:

The Day After Tomorrow Torndo Scene

The third will show you a bit of what you describe though it leaves out the car getting flattened, the man and the woman talking, and the man waxing the floors. I still haven't found that whole segment.
