Movie about Sister filling in for injured Brother in NASCAR race

I'm certain this movie is not the Disney movie Motocrossed. This is something else.

The family dynamic, as far as I remember, was a single dad (mother died, most likely) and a son and daughter. Son was around early twenties and an avid racecar driver. He gets in a serious wreck that leaves him blind and his sister (despite their father trying to forbid it) continues racing cars. I believe she does it in his place so the plot is very similar to Motocrossed, but it involves race cars instead of motorbikes.
