Father hires lesbian nurse for injured(?) daughter. Possibly French.

Possibly French (pretty sure it wasn't in English) drama about a girl (teen or early to mid twenties) who was sick or disabled somehow. She lived with a man, presumably her father, who is also her doctor. He seems to be overprotective of the girl. The man hires a  female nurse or companion for the girl and the two become attracted to each other. The plot could have been that the two of them would run away together.

Saw this a few year ago, so not very new, but no older than 2000.
