Help me find this movie

I'm trying to find a movie I saw many years ago about a female agent / spy during WW2. Firstly i know the film its not Charllote Grey but it is of a similar theme.

The main bit I can remember is the ending , which is when a officer solder sees the female agent who helped him survive the war, as she leaves a party. He believed that she had been killed whilst saving him, and felt guilty about this. However a friend knew the truth about the woman agent and showed his friend that she was in fact still alive but living a new life.

Near the end of the movie, ca. at 2:27:25 starts the part where the male agent (played by Dougray Scott) is in London after the war and he recognizes the female agent (Saffron Burrows) on the street.

"Claire is presumed dead as Jericho trails Puck to Scotland and catches up with him just as he is about to be taken on board a U-boat, but Wigram and the police have been waiting for the sub and it is bombed and sunk. A short scene after the war sees Jericho and Hester married with a child on the way. As Jericho waits for her in London, he notices Claire walking across the square."
