Pregnant slave hiding in a broken boat on the shore of a river.

All I can remember from the movie is a pregnant girl (a slave?) laying dying in a broken smallboat on a shore (for some reason the image I have of the boat is that it is very small, old, green peeling paint.) She wears tattered clothes, or almost no clothes, I think. I can't remember if someone finds her, or almost finds her. I think she was waiting for someone that didn't come.

And I remember another 'scene', which I am not sure is in the same movie, so don't count on it being useful: barefoot, cut up feet, walking far (to or from the small broken rowboat?) pregnant 'slave'?

I know I haven't given much info, but that was what flashed in my mind when I started watching "The Journey of August King", so now, of course, I NEED to know or it will drive me crazy, lol. Thank you to anyone that tries to help.
