Unable to "reply"

I asked a general question pertaining to "how to rate an answer as best". I got a response from VHS_lives, who told me how to go about doing it.I clicked on "reply" at the bottom of his answer to thank him for his help. When finished, I clicked on "comment" to send  VHS the note and I continue to get a pop-up that says,"NameThatMovie.org says: unexpected response from server-please try again or switch off javascript.  I retried several times but get the same pop-up.  I have no idea what "turn off javascript means, but I'm left with no way to reply back to VHS. What's up......thanks.

I've been having the same problem. I don't think it's us, I think it might be an issue with the site's server.
I was having the same issue, but it seems to be fixed now.
Hey John, in certain questions, for whatever reason, some of us have that issue. I actually had that issue when I commented to you. If you go into your advanced setting of your internet browser, you can turn off javascript. You can then comment on that question. It is best to then turn javascript back on, as the internet tends to work best that way. Cheers.

Edit: Glad my comments on the other question were helpul. Have a good one.
OK, I'll do that if I run across the same problem again.  Another thank yo to you for the additional help.
