Pre-80s comedy/horror alien grows from flower/plant eats people on board

This is a movie from the pre 80s.  Astronauts from earth go to an alien planet and find a flower\plant that they bring on board.  This plant starts to grow very quickly and then it becomes a humanoid monster that runs around the ship killing a few of them.  They eventually lead it into the airdock and eject it into space believing they have gotten rid of it, but just before the end credits as you see the ship flying back towards earth you see the alien flying behind it.

It sounded like the actual movie Alien haha! But if it is a comedy, it might be listed under spoofs of Alien at imdb. Here's a direkt link:

"The Creature Wasn't Nice"(1983)?

Although it was protoplasm and not a flower. This one was also released on video as "Naked Space" to capitalize on star Leslie Nielsen and his "Naked Gun" movies.
