Please help me find this movie, before or around the 1978/1980's...

I saw this movie when I was a young kid, so I guess the movie is made around or before 1980... maybe my memory is playing tricks on me, but what I remember about it:
It is a sort of science fiction movie. Two kids a boy and a girl (twins? Brother or sister?) Are in a sort of white dome which makes their dreams or imagination come true... it ends with that they imagine their enemy (?) Or the creator of that dome like thing (whoever it is, it is an adult) is sent to a sort of desert and is eaten by lions...

I have tried to google the movie before, but never found it and I even start to wonder how much of it I am remembering well, or that I am  mixing up memories and adding parts of the serie twilight zone to it?

That sounds like a version of Ray Bradbury's "The Veldt". Two versions I know of are:

"The Illustrated Man" (1969)
starring Rod Steiger and Claire Bloom (then-husband and wife)

"The Ray Bradbury Theater" (TV anthology series)
"The Veldt" (1989 episode)

I know this has been filmed a number of other times, including as "Savannen" (1983 TV movie Sweden).

Wow! You found it!! I didn't really expect a good answer, with such a vague description (memory) of the movie... it IS "the veldt", I googled it thanks to your answer, found this : and yes... that's the one :-)
I must have been 6 year old or so watching that movie.... and never forgot about it (WAY too scary for a 6 year old!!).
Thank you very much for the answer! Now I'll go try to rewatch it again some time/somehow.
You're welcome! I'm so happy that I could solve this mystery for you. I know what those "nagging" memories can be like and how nice it is to find a solution.
