chapter of twilight zone or similar.

this is a show like the twilight zone or similar (maybe amazing stories),
some broadway producer (or similar) needs to have success and gets into some kind of challenge where 2 producers show their works in a theatre and one of them will win a contract.
The main character is lacking inspiration but finds some old guy (maybe the devil) that gives him a script in exchange of something I don't remember.
When he reads the script he knows instantly it's gonna be a big success.
The story ends in the showoff
he allows the other contender to show his play fisrt, but when he sees the performance realizes that's the same play he was going to show.


I need to know the chapter, cause I need to understand it's context (I've seen it when I was a kid)
