A woman who is too old to be a dancer becomes a teacher

This movie starts with an audition for a role. The main character - a woman in her late 30s or something - is auditioning for a role as a dancer, and they say she's beautiful. She does all kinds of dances and executes them perfectly but when they get her age, they say she's too old for the role. After that there's a scene where she eats dinner with her parents and her sister, and then she becomes a dance teacher at a high school. The children there have very different personalities. One is a nerd, and I think one's abused or something. The nerd is bullied and there's a scene where he uses a dance move to kick his bullies in the face.
