Romantic comedy 90s a lot of cooking, opening scene cooking spaghetti

I'm looking for the name of a romantic comedy that centers around an ensemble cast of people who all live in the same apartment building (I think), some of whom find love, some of whom are ending relationships and/or learning things about their partners, etc.... There is a strong focus on cooking throughout the film, it might be from the 90s...? The opening scene shows a pot of water on a cooktop and someone is placing spaghetti in the pot. At first it seems like it's an established cook, but I believe that as the scene continues, you realize that she' shoving the pasta in the pot and it's coming out unevenly cooked and she's not very skilled in the kitchen. Any info on this movie would be appreciated. Sorry, not sure of any of the actors or more info....
