Movie with a clip of an Uncle and young Nephew going to a pool hall and Uncle bets that they can take anyone in the bar.

I watched a clip from this film in a college class the professor was using to make a point.  The clip I saw opened on a guy who I guess has been away from the family, down on his luck, looked down upon from his family.  His sister is leaving to go on a date and entrusts her brother to watch her son who is like 10ish.  Sister leaves and Uncle and Nephew are sitting there all awkward because they don't have any kind of relationship.  Uncle says, "Lets go" and they leave and go to a pool hall.  There's some gruff looking individuals, beer all around, and Uncle with young Nephew.  Uncle puts money down ($100 i think) that he and his nephew could take anyone in the bar.  Someone agrees and they start playing.  Uncle begins to clear the table all the way until the last 8 ball which is completely lined up perfectly.  Uncle then calls the nephew over, shows him how to shoot it. Nephew shoots it in and makes it.  Last scene i remember is the two of them coming home, Mom/Sister is already there, and they come in yelling and cheering and the Nephew is riding on the Uncles back.

Hope someone can help!
