An Alicia Silverstone movie - Possibly an 80s or 90s movie

This movie has Alicia Silverstone in it, and I saw a couple of brief scenes in it that might not give enough information, but one of the scenes shows two men at night conversing, one of the guys is smoking a cigarette and the other wears glasses. The smoking guy has dark hair and the "nerd" has somewhat curly hair and is either light haired or is a redhead, I can't recall. In one of the next scenes, the two guys are both at a phone booth, calling and talking to the girl that Alicia Silverstone plays. I don't remember what the guys say to her, but it starts off with the guy with glasses saying something to her, and then the guy who is smoking knocks him away from the phone to say something to her. It shows Alicia Silverstone in her house in what looks like it might be a basement apartment (though I could be wrong) talking on the phone with them. In one of the scenes it shows her walking into the next room through her window with the phone at her ear, doing other things as she's talking on the phone. It looked like it could be either a crime movie, a suspense movie, or maybe some kind of a "dark" movie, but I could be wrong there. It looked like it was likely an 80s or 90s movie. I am not sure of the actor names of the two men in the movie. I don't know any other details about it, other than it involves two men outside at night at a phone booth, and Alicia Silverstone walking around in a smallish looking apartment or space in which you see her through a window talking to these men on the phone. Also, it has played on TV channel Escape 30-4.
