Early 90s music video of a guy singing while staring into the camera while people are abusing him throughout the song.

This song was semi popular in the early 90s. It was on a pretty steady rotation around 91-93 on mtv. This white guy with a beard is staring into the camera singing while people harass him through the song. The abuse gets progressively worse I believe. It starts off with people walking by and pushing his face as they walk by. I recall a girl seems to take a string and pull it tight across his face from behind his head. The singer does nothing but keeps singing throughout, and you never see any one else's face through the video. I remember it's a pretty good song. I just can't for the life of me remember what it was called.
