This is a late 80s American film. The main character is a skinny little guy who has a friend who is a real talented diver. I mean diving like Greg louganis diving. I remember the guy liked to do a hand stand backwards off the diving board. The skinny guy gets involved in some scheme where he gets arrested. He tells his friend not to worry because hes got a great lawyer. I dont recall what the scheme was. A few scenes I remember is the diver guy telling a story about how he wanted to touch the bottom of the deep end of the pool. He did it, but he didnt just touch it for a second. He kept his foot there to relish the feeling. Another scene is the skinny guy asking a favor of his friend molly. Molly is sitting at a typewriter, and he hands her a letter to type up or some. Only he calls her, "moll," and she starts joking about how she doesn't know anyone by that name.
