90s episode twillight-zone-like, man with OCD

in the episode a man must turn on and off the lights so the world does not end.

he eventually does not do that and the world actually ends (with a nuclear holocaust i think).

the show is from the late 90s/early 2000s, round when freaky links was on tv.

i think its fromthe twilight zone but cant find anything on the web.
