Two male freinds get stranded on a highyway in the middle of nowhere.

I'd say the movie was made in the last 10 years. It starts with two male friends driving on a highway in the middle of the desert in the US. May even be route 66.

The car breaks down. One of them is convinced by the other to cut his hair into a mohawk, which has disasterous affects, as he scares a passer by away, leaving them stranded.

They get into a physical scuffle, later on, one thinks the other is dead, and tries to bury him, but he wakes up, and is freaked out that his friend would try to bury him.

The end of the movie sees them walking to an abandoned house and calling for help. But the end makes you think if they are still by the highway and he's just imagining being back at home.

"In a moment of reconciliation, Carter helps Mitchell to realize one of his dreams and gives him a crude Mohawk haircut. The two later come to blows over an argument, and Mitchell believes that he has accidentally killed Carter. As a stricken Mitchell drags Carter's body to a shallow grave, Carter wakes up in a daze and freaks out."
