Which movie showed two teen boys who made a third boy believe he was sexting with a teen girl?

This was a very recent film - I saw it on a plane in 2013. The victim boy is a lonely kid who composes music on his computer. The two bully boys are skateboarders. They like to play pranks. They don't realize how cruel they are being. The victim boy is pretty much ignored by his dad, mom, and sister. The bully boys eventually get him to send a naked photo (of himself) to the nonexistent girl, and then they send the photo to everyone in school - it's horrible. The acting and the script are really first-rate. There's more going on too, with the victim boy's dad and his business, and one of the bully boys' dads (he used to be a police officer). Near the end there is an incredibly great scene where the victim boy's dad goes to the bully's house and tries to kill him ... I don't want to post any spoilers. I did not know any of the actors.
