Possibly Asian movie from early 2000's with a demon that impregnates women in their sleep, and a hero controlled by a video game.

I saw a movie in the early 2000's, that may have been made in China or Japan) about a demon that impregnates women in their sleep with himself so that he can be reborn and live for several more centuries. The movie begins in feudal China or Japan with a girls father killing her before she is able to give birth so that the demon cannot be reborn. Fast forward to the early 2000's, and the time has come for the demon to attempt returning to Earth, so he finds a girl and has sex with her in her dream and she becomes pregnant. She happens to be the daughter of a policeman who is also a descendant of the man in feudal Asia that kills his daughter. At the end of the movie she gives birth to the demon who fights her love interest, and the love interest wins the fight because of a story arc in the movie about a video game that has been developed where the gamer can play and interact in the game by a thumbtack-like device inserted into the back of the neck. (Sidenote: the mob is after this device for some reason, and there is once scene where the device is hidden in the earlobe of the person that created it - disguised as an ear gauge). The love interest has the device inserted into the back of his neck and is able to win because his younger brother is playing a video game unaware that the fight in the game is actually happening in real life. I also think the specific video game was based off of this demon as the fighters in the game look like the demon and the love-interest.
