What is this movie where marked people are being taken by unknown creatures.

My sister rented this flick years ago and I never knew the title. From what I remember, it centers around this young blonde woman who's friend (Terry is his name I think) went missing or died. Her and 2 of Terry's friends find his journals recording his final days. He emphasizes on this mark he has had that seems to be getting worse like something is growing inside it. They reveal to each other that, like Terry, they all had night terrors when they were children and one by one they see they each have the same mark Terry describes and are picked off by creatures that can't stand the light. The blonde woman has her boyfriend check to see if the mark is anywhere on her body, but there doesn't appear to be, until she notices it's on the edge of her forehead while looking in the mirror and painfully pulls out some sort of insect like leg or something.
