scifi movie where strange alien energy turns the villain young again

This was a post 2000 movie, I know it, but I can't seem to find it anywhere. I know the plot fairly well.

A group of rescuers show up at a mining planet because they haven't heard back from it. They are all in cryo-sleep in some type of goo at the beginning. They encounter only one survivor of the mining team and take him onboard - a young guy.

The crew start to have weird hallucinations, one of the female doctor's dead child underneath one of the body-bags in the morgue.

As it turns out, some alien energy the miners uncovered possessed the abusive husband of one of the crew (who was on the mining expedition) and it turned him young again. I recall a scene vividly where he rakes his knuckles together and they crackle with a pink electric energy.

So he starts systematically killing people on the ship.

I think you might be thinking of "Supernova." It stars Angela Bassett and James Spader. It's been some time since I've seen it, and I don't remember the scene with the dead child, but the rest fits my memory well.
