It's from sometime in the 2000's but it's set before that. A man and woman are in love and when the man goes off to war, the wife cheats on him. So when the husband comes back, the wife is still sleeping with the other guy behind his back and he finds out and screams at her and becomes abusive and when she tries to leave him he forbids it, then she finds out she's pregnant and tells him and he asks if it's his and she responds that she doesn't know. I remember their being a scence in which the man and woman are being carried on those stretcher type things, for rich people back then, you know what I'm talking about? Anyway, he was threatening her and she was unbearable hot and sweating, because it was so warm out that day. I think it also had a main point about letters and I remember there was also a group of nuns at some point? I also think it ended with the woman leaving and returning home (they were in some forgein country and the husband had died at this point) with her child and they're walking together down a busy street and they see the kids real father, and they exchange looks but then continue walking and the child asks the mother who that man was and she responds either 'it doesn't matter' or 'I don't know'. I beleive the title starts with an S and is two words but I could be wrong about that, I'm not sure. It was a decent movie and it's killing me that I can't remember what it was. Anyone know?
