Jewish woman works in Nazi's home as helper to him and has contact with his daughter

During WW II, in German-controlled Europe, Jewish woman is working in Nazi home (I am almost certain that it is for a Concentration Camp commandant and she is an inmate).  As work is about to begin he has a terrible migraine and shouts to close the blinds to keep the sun out.  He takes an injection of DHE and remarks how great it is.

Some time later(?) the Jewish woman plans to sneak into the daughter's room but I don't remember why.  She is found by the daughter and fears that the daughter will tell, but the daughter just shows her possessions of which she is quite proud.

I know I liked this movie quite a bit and would like to see it again, or buy the DVD.  Thanks

that is from a scene in Sophie's Choice starring Meryl Streep. Someone asked her to steal the radio out of the little girl's room.
