Two guys look at City and one is blind

I don't really have much to go on, I just vaguely remember one scene and my recollection of the scene could be wrong.

Basically, two guys are travelling somewhere, I get the feeling one is young and one is old. The old guy is blind and may be some sort of teacher to the young one. They reach their destination, I think it's a massive ancient city or something. The young guy is seeing it for the first time and is in awe, the old blind guy says he saw it many years ago when he wasn't blind.

I think it's medieval or fantasy. It may or may not be a cartoon. Sorry I can't remember more, tha Kupu in advance!
