What is the name of this movie?

There's this movie about a brown/black haired boy who doesn't really pay attention in school but he's very goo at Art. His parents are always harsh on him for not doing well. He's on his school balcony whole a blonde girl is also there smoking and a teacher comes to the balcony and the guy takes the blame for smoking. On his way home he's in a black trench coat and the blonde girl asks him to go to her house basically and he meets her mom and he drinks alcohol. Eventually he gets asked to sit and eat dinner with her friends and they notice he's very artistic so the girls friend ask him to draw a poster for his upcoming party. So he does and he shows up at the party and its very obvious he likes the girl. I can't remember a lot more but later on a graduated Art student from his school is paid to come into his school for a presentation and the boy really admires him. They become good friends while this boy is still in love with the girl the graduated student steals the girl off him and they go on an art tour or something like that. I can't remember a lot of the film but I hope this helps. Thanks in advance! :-)
