Short b&w foriegn film - woman can't escape burning projector film

Around 15 years ago I was watching a short film festival on SBS in Australia which featured international artists work. I have looked for this film ever since, as it was one of the scariest short films I had ever seen and amazingly well done.

My memory is sketchy - here are the main points

- the film looks like it is 35m and in b&w

- it may be Italian/ Spanish?? Can't remember

- I can't tell its age as the short film emulated old 35mm film or earlier, projector film look and feel, it was made very successfully to look old and worn.

- I think there is a woman in an old house

- the woman is running, trying to escape but ends up trapped from room to room

- the house around her starts breaking up, reacting to warping, buckling and twisting of the projector's film

- the house is on fire and the projector film is on fire

- it seems that as the quality of the projector film gets worse - it even starts running off its spindle, showing the edge, the characters and things in the film get burnt and damaged

- the woman ends up trapped/ dies as she tries desperately to escape the damage- As the film quality slowly gets worse to a point where it runs out/ screen goes white with projector noise clicking in background

Thanks for reading!
