What is this moovie? A guy pretends to be a journalist.

So i have seen this moovie a long time ago and i don't know the name of it. The story: A young boy is living with his father, his mom has died recently. The father is an alcoholist and the boy is trying to support him, so he is working at the local shop. The owner of the shop takes the boy under his wings, and finally the boy can give everyone to believe that he is a journalist, in order to invest his money in prostitutes.
